Supporting You on Your Journey to a Better Mental Well-Being

My name is Ademola Shitta-Bey, and I am a fully qualified psychotherapist dedicated to supporting your journey toward mental and spiritual well-being.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. These qualifications have equipped me with a diverse array of therapeutic tools, tailored to help you reconnect with both your mind and soul. I practice ethically under the auspices of IAHIP, ensuring a professional and respectful therapeutic environment.

My passion for mental health and helping others has been a guiding force throughout my life. Prior to becoming a therapist, I accumulated over 13 years of experience working across various challenging environments—supporting young teens, adults transitioning from the prison system, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those dealing with addiction. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the profound impact mental health has on our lives and the importance of compassionate, effective support.

I am particularly passionate about cultural sensitivity and trauma, advocating for open and inclusive spaces for individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds within the therapeutic field. I believe that understanding and respecting cultural differences is essential to effective therapy.

Operating from an integrative perspective, I draw on a range of modalities—including psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centred, and somatic psychotherapy—allowing me to tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. My curiosity as a therapist enables me to engage deeply with your life experiences, fostering meaningful insights and growth.

If you’re seeking a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and holistic approach to mental health, I am here to support you on your journey toward greater self-awareness, healing, and balance.
